His track record includes Orange, where he was responsible for external agencies and debt recovery processes; Dindin.es, an online microloan platform, as a customer service and collections manager; and Servdebt, a leading independent NPL and REO asset management company in the Iberian market, as a debt recovery manager.

Acquisition of a microcredit debt portfolio for recovery

Total microfinance debt amounting to around 20 million euros was divided into several lots. Over 20,000 client accounts in total.
Execution
Initial documentation for the auction was viewed by 49 registered clients, detailed information was downloaded by 21 clients, and 14 bids were made during the auction process.
Outcome
Starting prices for all lots increased by 4% to 14% to 200+ thousand euros. All bids were approved by the seller, and all lots were sold.

Entry into the Spanish market for debt acquisition
Total debt amount of 6+ million euros, 40 accounts.
Execution
Initial documentation for the auction was viewed by 95 registered clients, detailed information was downloaded by 71 clients. Four clients participated in the bidding, and over 20 bids were made.
Outcome
Sold lots with an average purchase price of 40.5% of the total debt amount.

Initial documentation for the auction was viewed by a total of 60 registered clients, detailed information was downloaded by 41 clients. Two clients participated in the bidding.
Outcome
Bids were made to acquire 1 lot for a total of 180+ thousand euros, which constitutes 72% of the principal debt amount.

Acquisition of a microcredit debt portfolio for recovery
Acquisition of microcredit debt to diversify investments, recover debts, and possibly resell remaining debt in the future.
Execution
Stage-by-stage selection was conducted, liquidity analysis was performed, and a financial model was compiled for several potential portfolios. From September 2022 to August 2023, 5 portfolios with a total debt amount of approximately 3.6 million euros were acquired directly from sellers and at auctions. During the recovery process, the collection agency was changed due to significant lagging behind the recovery business plan. Also, the lawyers’ strike in Madrid had a negative impact on the recovery process.
Outcome
Recovery plans for portfolios 1, 2, and 3 were achieved at 66%, portfolio 4 at 90%, portfolio 5 at 84%. Current annual return on portfolios - 44%.

An international CPA network owned by a major investment fund decided to enter the finance vertical in Spain.
Project Progress
A business plan was developed to establish representation in Spain to gain synergy in accessing the existing client base in the financial sector and to fully administer all activities in Spain:

Business development of key directions (MFOs, webmasters, banks);
First-year budget of 1+ million euros, co-investment.

The project was suspended due to reasons beyond the control of the performers.
